Through holistic energy healing and mindfulness practices, Nina and Bonnie have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of energy healing and have seen how shifting perspectives within a family can pave the way for personal growth. Their own mental shifts inspired them to become certified Reiki practitioners at Levels 1 and 2 and ultimately encouraged them to start Rooted in Love, a wellness coaching practice, in 2024.
Their shared passion for personal growth has taught them that healing is not a linear process but one that ebbs and flows, offering opportunities for growth and renewal in every moment. Bonnie and Nina are deeply compassionate and committed to helping others find peace and balance.
Together, they strive to create a harmonious and supportive healing environment for their clients. They believe in the power of trust and the beauty of each heartbeat as a chance to heal and grow.
The duo believes that when you are rooted in the present, you can tap into the love around you and use it to shape positive habits in your life.
They can support you through 1:1 coaching and/or energy healing work. They can hold space for you as you focus on trusting the process of life, embracing the present moment, and finding love in every heartbeat.

Nina Gioiosa is dedicated to holding space for others on their unique healing journeys. She has a diverse background in Event Planning, Customer Success, and Theatre Arts.
Nina has always focused on helping people achieve their goals while building genuine, human-centered partnerships. Guided by a “people first” mindset, she views healing as a collaborative process that integrates the mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional bodies.
In 2023, a health scare prompted Nina to confront her identity, experiences, and mortality. This transformative period led her to temporarily step away from her “day job” and embrace a path of personal growth and healing. Immersing herself in mindfulness practices such as meditation, therapy, Reiki, and guidance from a wellness coach, she reignited a spark within herself to move forward with purpose. With the support of her Reiki Master, Lauren, Nina learned to trust in her own resilience and discovered that all human experiences—both joyful and challenging—are deeply rooted in love.
Through her healing journey, Nina earned her Reiki I certification, followed by Reiki II the following year.
Understanding that healing is non-linear and ever-evolving, Nina is now integrating the lessons she’s learned into her day-to-day life and is passionate about healing with others. You “teach what you need” and Nina strives to teach hope, kindness, and belief in the transformative power of self-discovery.
Outside of her healing practice, Nina spends time with her partner Vitoria, her dog Major, and her three cats—Ash, Finn, and Bear. She enjoys discovering local coffee shops and restaurants, nice smelling candles, pretty crystals, and savoring the small, meaningful moments of life.

Bonnie, the youngest of 11 siblings, has always been a deeply caring and compassionate individual, naturally drawn to building meaningful connections with others. Encouraged by her parents, she cultivated a love for travel and exploring diverse cultures and traditions from an early age. This adventurous and empathetic spirit shaped her career, which spans 35 successful years as a Realtor and over a decade as a Flight Attendant.
Bonnie’s personal spiritual journey deepened during the first year of her marriage to her husband, Dan, when he was diagnosed with cancer. Confronted with profound challenges and feelings of helplessness, she sought ways to bring strength and comfort to her family during such an uncertain time. This search for healing, guidance, and peace led her to discover Reiki, a practice that empowered her and renewed her sense of purpose.
Finding solace and strength through Reiki, Bonnie embraced the practice as a way to support herself and others during difficult times. In 2023, when her daughter Nina faced a challenging diagnosis, Reiki once again became a source of comfort and resilience for Bonnie and her family. Sharing this new path forward, Bonnie and Nina earned their Reiki Level 1 and 2 certifications alongside each other, deepening their commitment to spiritual growth and healing.
As a proud mother of five and grandmother of four, Bonnie’s passion for supporting others has evolved into her life’s work. Her journey of spiritual growth and unwavering desire to help others encouraged her to open this practice, Rooted in Love.
